13岁中国初中男生来澳旅游在黄金海岸溺亡

A CHINESE student has drowned at a Gold Coast highrise resort during a night swim.Police say the boy, 13, could not swim but went into the pool at the International Beach Resort in Surfers Paradise last night.He was found at the bottom of the pool and attempts by paramedics to revive him failed.

据2011年2月13日《Courier Mail》报道，一名来自中国的13岁初中学生在位于黄金海岸一旅游度假村内夜间游泳时，不幸溺亡。

据警方称，这名13岁的男孩不会游泳，但是周六晚间却自行来到位于冲浪者天堂的国际海滨度假村游泳。他的遗体在泳池底被人发现，医护人员赶到后依然抢救无效身亡。

此次抢救未能及时，很大程度上也因为当时在他随行的旅游团内没有找到一位会游泳的成年人。黄金海岸警官Darren Soppa表示，“他不会游泳，但是他以为这是浅水区，其实是深水区，所以酿成悲剧。”

这个男孩是大约70名中国学生旅游团中的一员，他们将在黄金海岸进行为期两周的参观旅游。

中国大使馆已经发出预警，男孩的父母已被告知这个不幸的消息。
