简易版澳洲公民入籍考试今天起开始进行


The new Australian citizenship test comes into force today amid criticism from some that it discriminates against those who do not have a grasp of the English language.

All immigrants who want to become Australian citizens will now have to take the brand new test to see if they qualify.

据2009年10月19日《The Age》报道,从今天起,简易版澳洲公民入籍考试将代替旧版试题开始进行,全澳各地有超过400人参加这项新考试。

新的考试试题用简易显浅的英文,并且不设必须答中题。不过,合格分数则由60分提高至75分。
