据2009年3月12日《The Age》报道，墨尔本西区印度裔移民留学生计划在明天再次举行示威游行，抗议当地警力不足，治安不靖。

今年1月2日，超过100名印度裔移民和留学生游行到墨尔本西区Sunshine警局，抗议近期频发的针对印度裔暴力事件，要求警方加强保护措施。
