薛乃印申请保释到工地打工赚律师费

Nai Yin Xue, 55, charged with murdering his wife An An Liu, 27 and dumping his 3-year-old daughter at Melbourne's Southern Cross railway station, is expected to apply for bail on Tuesday so he can get a job to pay for his defence lawyer. He had been offered a job on an Auckland building site.

据2008年12月15日《The Age》报道，涉嫌杀妻弃女的薛乃印料将于本周二申请保释外出候审，以便外出工作赚钱来支付高额辩护律师费。

据报道，55岁的薛乃印已经获得新西兰最大城市奥克兰一个建筑工地的地盘工作offer。

迄今为止，新西兰法律援助处已积欠薛的辩护律师大笔律师费，该律师表示，如果申请保释聆讯结束以后，律师费依然没有被付清，他将会停止为薛继续辩护。

薛乃印案的宣判日期原定于2009年6月2日。

据悉，法律援助处相信薛乃印在海外开有银行户口，不过，这已遭薛乃印矢口否认。
