澳反对党领袖阐述竞选承诺

联邦反对党领袖艾伯特6月26日公布十二项竞选承诺，首要目标是在三年之内将联邦财政预算扭亏为盈。 具体如下：

1.三年内将联邦预算扭亏为盈；

2.结束“工党政府的浪费”项目，包括政府在媒体上投放的广告限额，“教育革命”中校园基建以及家庭隔热层计划。

3.放弃征收暴利资源税和其他税

4.“结束政府对于小生意的歧视” － 制定新规则，保证政府部门及时支付小生意的账单

5.执行严格的边境安全和控制，阻止难民船入境。

6.适应人口增长，提供更好的基建服务。

7.对水和环境问题采取直接行动，但不引入ETS碳排放交易计划

8.保护私人医疗，提高公共医疗和健康体系；

9.政府提供六个月的带薪产假；

10.提高社区安全，设置更多闭路电视；

11.提高教育水平，包括允许校长决定教师工资；

The 12 points

1. Restore the budget surplus within three years and start paying Labor's debt;

2. End "Labor's waste" and restore cabinet government - includes money spent on government advertising, the Building the Education Revolution and home insulation schemes;

3. Reject the resources super profits tax and other taxes that hurt productivity;

4. "End government discrimination against small business" - new rules to ensure the government pays its bills to small business on time;

5. Enforce strict border security and control - including turning boats back where possible;

6. Link population growth to the provision of better infrastructure;

7. Take direct action on water and the environment - but not introducing an emissions trading scheme, which Mr Abbott called a "futile gesture";

8. Protect private health and improve the public health and hospital system;

9. Six months' paid parental leave;

10. Provide safer neighbourhoods - by rolling out more closed circuit TV cameras in consultation with police;

11. Raise standards in education - including allowing principals to determine teacher salaries;

12. Restore Work-for-the-Dole and mutual obligation.
