BREAKING NEWS: iiNet wins Federal Court case, did not infringe copyright

The Federal Court has ruled that Perth-based internet service provider iiNet did not encourage copyright violations by allowing users to download pirated files over its networks.
今天上午九点半，全球网络界关注的一宗案件在澳洲联邦法院宣判，澳洲第三大网络服务供应商iiNet赢得了这场官司，这一判决将具有里程碑式的意义。
去年，全球34家电影公司联合兴讼，指控澳洲网络服务供应商iiNet允许其用户非法下载共享有版权的影片。
如果控方胜诉，将形成判例，以后澳洲网络服务供应商ISP将不得不对自己的客户下载行为进行监控，若发现非法共享盗版产品，ISP将切断这些用户的网络连接。
