昆州洪灾暂缓 新洲沿海成灾

Rain, rain, go away...residents of Terrania Street in North Lismore wade through rising floodwaters yesterday. A local river came close to breaching its levy.

据2009年5月23日澳广报道，本周初昆州发生严重水灾，在这之后这种天气转向新南威尔士州，又造成那个州北部沿海的大灾难。

有关洪灾紧急营救已经扩大到整个州，至少有9000多人接到要求他们撤离家园的命令。昨晚有关当局还要求另外5000人撤离家园。
