据2007年12月27日《悉尼晨锋报》报道，不但在昆士兰州将可能出现飓风天气，气象局也发布了一项雷暴雨警报。从12月27日下午起，新州Hunter和Central Tablelands, Illawarra等地区以及悉尼西部地带也将出现狂风暴雨，冰雹，闪电和涝灾。
