DRIVERS beware . . . the Story Bridge fixed speed camera will be operating from Friday to catch those exceeding the 60km/h limit.
据2008年3月2日《The Courier-Mail》报道，昆士兰州警察总长Bob Atkinson表示，在昆州一些事故最易发地段，固定超速照相机减少了41％的致命车祸。警方将继续“严打”超速驾驶。
从去年至今，昆州在三个容易发生交通事故的路段新增了固定超速相机，具体如下：
- Pacfic Motorway (Tarragindi)
- Bruce Highway (Burpengary)
- Main Street (Kangaroo Point～Storey Bridge)
