乡村音乐歌星荣获“2008年度澳洲人”称号

Australian of the Year ... Country music star Lee Kernaghan.

据2008年1月26日《The Age》报道，一年一度的“Australian of the Year”评选结果揭晓，43岁的乡村音乐歌星Lee Kernaghan在3000多被提名人中脱颖而出，荣获“2008年度澳洲人”称号，以表彰他服务广大干旱乡村社区所做出的贡献。



Lee Kernaghan was awarded Australian of the Year for his efforts to help rural families through his 'Pass the Hat Around' tours.
