二月份澳洲失业率升至5.2%创四年来新高

Australia's unemployment rate has hit 5.2% after the economy suffered the biggest monthly drop in full-time jobs since 1991.

The jobless rate is now the worst it has been in four years, further proof the economic downturn is getting worse and adding to the case for another rate cut when the Reserve Bank board next meets early April.

2009年3月12日澳洲统计局公布的数据显示，澳大利亚2月季调后失业率从一月份的4.8%升至5.2%，为05年3月来的最高水平，并且差于市场预期。2月就业人数增加1800人。经济学家此前预期均值显示，2月失业率为5.0%，就业人数减少2万人。

数据还显示，2月季调后就业总人数为1081万人，同1月持平。2月全职就业人数下降5.28万人，至766万人，2月兼职就业人数增加5.56万人至315万人。

陆克文总理表示，如果没有政府近期推出的经济刺激计划，澳大利亚的失业数据将会更加糟糕，就业前景将会更加恶化。
