圣诞后澳洲零售势头不减 快餐外卖业“独领风骚”

News of a surprise 2 per cent jump in the state's retail spending in November, along with a national jump of 1.4 per cent, helped push the Australian dollar up half a cent to more than 92 US cents yesterday on speculation of another interest rate rise in February.

据2010年1月7日《Herald Sun》报道，圣诞节后，澳洲各大百货公司、商场专卖店人流如潮，零售额超出预期，销售势头不减。

电器产品零售商JB Hi-Fi首席执行官Richard Uechtritz表示，自Boxing Day以来销售一直好于预期，远高于去年。澳洲人仍敢于消费。他认为这是由于澳人对经济良好前景的信心增加，大多数指标显示2010年应该是不错的一年，至少比前两年要好。

另2010年1月8日《The Age》报道，澳洲统计局公布的最新数据显示，全澳零售额年增1.4%，维州更录得2%的年增长，超出预期，其中以快餐外卖业增幅最大。
