警方确定四月爆炸偷渡船五名丧生者身份

NORTHERN Territory police have released the names and photographs of the five Afghan asylum seekers who died in the Ashmore Reef explosion in April.

据2009年9月25日《北领地时报》报道，北领地警方24日公布了今年四月在Ashmore礁附近爆炸起火的难民船上五名丧生者的姓名和照片。

当时船上有47名寻求庇护者和两名船员，被澳洲海军舰艇截获后发生爆炸。后来只寻获三具尸体，另两人相信已死亡，另有数十人受伤。

警方表示，五名死者均为阿富汗男子，年龄在26至50岁之间。
