联邦预算案将奖励最佳教师 2014年初支付每人5400至8100元

The Prime Minister announced yesterday the funding for the scheme, promised during the election, would see about 25,000 teachers get a bonus from 2014 based on performance in the 2013 school year.The payment -- varying from $8100 for experienced teachers to $5400 for those starting out -- would be based on NAPLAN test results, lesson observations and parental feedback.

吉拉德总理宣布，在即将出炉的联邦政府预算案中，将包括澳洲最佳教师获薪酬奖励等措施。

“即将公布的预算案将兑现我们的承诺，奖励全国的杰出教师。”吉拉德昨天在堪培拉一间小学说。

“我们将设计一种制度，令工作出色的教师能获得额外的工资和额外的奖励，来认可他们的杰出成绩。”

联邦政府称，奖励工资将在今后四年内花费联邦政府4.25亿元，至2018年总数为13亿元。

首批奖励将以2013年学年为基础，在2014年初支付。根据教师的经验，奖励将从5400元至8100元不等。

吉拉德总理说，预计2.5万名教师，或每十名中有一名，将在该计划下得到奖金。
