太危险！新州每年溺亡者中70％为儿童

According to drowning death statistics, children made up 70 per cent of the 302 drownings last year, with three children almost drowning in the last week alone.

据2009年12月28日《每日电讯报》报道，11月27日 ，新州又有一名儿童在自家后院游泳池里溺亡，据统计，新州去年共发生302宗溺亡事故，其中70%是少年儿童，仅仅是上周一个星期，就有三个儿童溺亡。

新州救援服务部呼吁市民在圣诞新年长假期间应当格外看管好自己的孩子，不要在无人照看时让他们在水边玩耍；后院游泳池必须设有安全围栏。家长还应让小孩子去学游泳课以及急救知识。
