墨尔本拟建新地铁舒缓市中心交通拥堵

It will come with a $100 million underground station at Parkville to service the hospital and university sector.The new service will link Flinders St station with Melbourne Central and on to Parkville before joining up with the Footscray line.

据2009年9月9日《Herald Sun》报道，维州政府计划斥资45亿澳元兴建一条地铁线路，连接Flinders火车总站和墨尔本中央车站，并在Parkville建立一个耗资1亿澳元的新地铁站，服务周边的墨尔本皇家妇女和儿童医院和墨大，并连接Footscray火车线路。
