墨尔本电车擅自缩短行程让乘客苦等

MELBOURNE'S trams are being ''short-shunted'' - their journey terminated before they reach their destination - 150 times a day, leaving passengers at the end of the line waiting for trams that never show up.

据2009年9月21日《The Age》报道，墨尔本电车公司Yarra Trams证实，为保持电车准点运行，在每日5000次的日常运营中，大约有3%，也就是150次电车擅自缩短了行程，让乘客们只能在站台上苦等。

今年6月，维州政府宣布将对Yarra Trams运营商进行重大改革，来自法国的运营商 Keolis将在12月1日结束对电车的管理。
