维州最严重山火季节结束 要不要修防火坑道？

CFA fire crews check preparations and supplies in the only shire approved fire adit in Victoria. The adit is a 50m tunnel carved into rock. It is filled with food, water, oxygen, portable lights and some fire fighting equipment and is positioned approx 1km from the Commercial Hotel on Main Rd, Woods Point.

3月4日，维州政府宣布澳洲历史上最严重的山火季节已经结束，并对成千上万逃离的民众表示返回家园已没有危险性。

当局对遇难者尸体的搜寻工作仍将持续3个星期，但持续的降雨大大缩小了火灾的威胁。维州的官员称现在已是其他国家的消防人员返回祖国的时候了。

据估计，发生在2月7日的澳大利亚史上最严重的山林大火共造成10000人逃离家园，2000栋民宅被夷为平地。大火还造成210人死亡，但据估计，在所有的法医鉴定和搜寻工作结束后，这一数字仍会上升。
