两天内两次偷走林火灾区善款墨尔本北区男子被捕

BUSHFIRE charity vultures have plundered thousands of dollars of donations handed over by generous Victorians.

The money -- destined for desperate victims who have lost everything to the blazes -- has been stolen from schools, RSLs, clubs, hotels and restaurants.

据2009年2月18日《Herald Sun》报道，家住墨尔本北区Reservoir的35岁男子Troy Barry Hopkins ，在两天内两次偷取酒吧内放置的为维州林火灾区捐款箱内现金，他在周一晚已被逮捕并以盗窃罪被控上法庭。
